Nutrition What to eat during 24 hour race

I am curious about how other teams handle food during the race. What suggestions does the community have for race day? Please post and let me and the other know your suggestions.

This year we are having a pot of chicken noodle soup in the camp site. It is warn, has plenty of sodium, carbohydrates and enough protein to slow the digestion down so that it stays with you longer. Also, it is easily digested comfort food.

Interview with Granny Gear Productions' Laird Knight

Granny Gear's Laird Knight

YourMTB.com's editorial and community manager Neal Young was able to catch Laird Knight, owner of the race promotion company Granny Gear Productions and founder of the 24-hour mountain bike racing format, on the phone for an interview. They talked about Laird's background, how he came up with the idea for 24 hour mountain bike races, and some memorable moments from his years on the circuit. Take a listen!
