No rain, no wind and all fun! That's how I'd describe Moab this year. The 13th annual 24-hours of Moab finished without the death rain from last year! It was all fun and no suffering for this rider.

24-Hours of Moab is over, and I'm sad! In previous years, I was happy. Instead of suffering horribly through solo or duo, I teamed up with three other dudes. Our four man crew was called Dirty Nomex and we got 4th in the just for fun class. We had it all this year: a massage artist, a team of three cooking meals for us and an awesome ever-burning campfire. This year, Moab was fun; not a sufferfest.

What's my thinking for next year, well, I'm into the 4-man crew! It is so much different than Solo/Duo-Pro. Below is the top ten reasons why 4-man is more fun than Solo/Duo-Pro.

1. I GOT TO SLEEP!!!
2. Hot chocolate, tea, steaks, whatever you want your teammates hook it up
3. You get to relax by the campfire
4. Lazily getting ready to ride your next lap is OK
5. "Go ahead Walker, buy the Gyro from the Greek food stand." The little voice said
6. Spending time with my Wife (wow, never written that before on www.yourmtb.com)
7. This year, I was also a spectator
8. Getting and keeping all the free schwag
9. Cooking meals for my teammates
10. Going fast on each lap
