Lately, me & my fellow riders have been hitting BootLeg Canyon Sat mornings. BootLeg Canyon is in Boulder City, NV towards the Hoover Dam. During the Viva Las Vegas summer HOT months (June-Sept), the only way to get some riding is early in the mornings & done by 8:30am, after that temp starts to climb to 3 digits, HOT!!!

Love this trails 'cuz it has several forks to different levels of terrain from novice to experts. They also have a fun bike park with lots of obstacles. I read that the current guy that sets up & maintains the park used to trespass & ride the property. After several arrests & jail time, the owner of the park decided to hire him to build up the trails. Today, it's been very popular for it trails, especially locals. First time I went up "Mother" trail, it banged me around like a ping pong ball, rocks all over the place like it was intentionally planted to punish the kids.

Love this place!
