Speedball R adjustable seatpost from Maverick

I've been lusting after Maverick's "Speedball" adjustable seatpost. It's an expensive bike accessory, though, at $220 for the basic model (adjust seat height by using a lever underneath the front of the seat) and $250 for the "R" model with remote control on the handlebars.

Maverick is currently holding a contest where they're giving away a Speedball R (and a "Moderation" t-shirt). Go here to enter by telling a story of when you could have used a Speedball. They'll do a random drawing of entries sometime in May.

I've been playing with the Speedball for a long time, well over 1.5 years now. IMHO it's a must have and can't live without it. I have upgraded to the remote system, absolutely a hoot!

I will state the Speedball is the most fun cycling "accessory" I have ever had in my 25 years of mountain & road bike riding!
