TRAINING ALL VENUES – Bike Park Open to the public
July 4:
Training for all venues and courses, 10am-4pm. Be advised, all Bike Park trails will be open to the public, with the exception of the Slopestyle/Big Air Course.
SLOPESTYLE training – July 5
2-6pm
DOWNHILL training – July 5
Training on the Downhill is open from 10am-4pm. Be advised that the trail will be open to the public, so please use caution.
SUPER DOWNHILL – July 5
The Crankworx Colorado Super Downhill will be a flowy course requiring short sections of climbing. Passing opportunities will be at a premium, so take advantage of them when you get them. This is an Open Class (all ages) event with a mass start for both male and female classes. First (short) section of trail will be a climb to spread out the field.
Course route:
• Start on Mt. Road below Sunspot (short climb)
• Race up to Long Trail
• Long Trail to 300 Yard Bypass
• 300 Yard Bypass to Downhill
• Finish on Downhill at the base
START is located at the Top of the Zephyr Lift – follow signs to the start
Men’s start: 11:45am
Women’s start: 12:15pm
FINISH: Base of the Resort
SLOPESTYLE Qualifications – July 5
The Crankworx Colorado Slopestyle course is designed by John Cowan and the Whistler crew. The slopestyle is a single-line course featuring drops, dirt Jumps, elevated wall rides, and elevated stunts.
Qualifications begin at 12:30pm.
Format: combined scores from 2 runs, Top 10 riders advance to semi-finals on Saturday
DOWNHILL - July 6
The Crankworx Colorado Downhill will be a freeride-inspired course with drops, jumps, banked C-turns, and elevated bridges. This is an Open Class (all ages) event with PRO and AM divisions in both male and female classes.
Course Route: PRO and AM
• Start at the top of the Zephyr lift
• Race on Downhill Trail to the base
START: Top of the Zephyr Lift
FINISH: Base of the Resort
AM DIVISION – HEAT ONE
AM Men’s Start: 10:45am
AM Women’s start: Immediately following Men’s Division
Format: awards will be given for top 3 fastest runs; one run determines time
PRO DIVISION – HEAT 2
Pro Men’s Start: 1:45pm
Pro Women’s start: immediately following Men’s Division
FINALIST RUNS: 3:30pm
Format: top 10 times [male] and top 5 times [female] from first run get second run; best time from top 10 male and top 5 female athletes’ first OR second run will determine placing; second round will be started in reverse order from first run times
BIG AIR - July 6
The Crankworx Colorado Big Air course utilizes the same course as the slopestyle event and is designed by John Cowan and the Whistler crew. The course features drops, dirt Jumps, elevated wall rides, and elevated stunts.
Big Air Jam: 4-5pm
Format: Jam format. Athletes can session any feature within the slopestyle course and the winners will be based on the sickest trick stomped.

Semifinals begin at 4pm.
Format: In the Semi-finals, the riders 2-run scores will be combined to determine the Super Finalists. The Super Finals will include the Top 12 from the Semi-finals. The Super Finals will use the BEST run out of 2 to determine the winners.
Super FINALS start immediately following the semi-finals.
