Downieville Classic correspondents wanted (ride for free)

The Downieville Classic (July 13-15) is one of the most storied race series in mountain biking. Want to ride it?

We've got slots for 6 YourMTB.com correspondents -- 3 in the Point to Point Cross Country Race (July 14) and 3 in the Downhill Race (July 15).

All you have to do is take some photos (and video, if you're in to that) and blog about the race here on the Downieville Grassroots Channel of YourMTB.com.

Cross Country correspondents will get free entry to that race.

Downhill correspondents will get free entry to the SBTS Mountain Epic Rides in the fall. (Sorry, we couldn't get the coveted entries to the Downhill race for this program. You need to be signed up already.)

Spectators also can apply to be correspondents.

No media experience is necessary. This is low-key and fun. Enjoy yourself while taking race photos and writing about your experience.
