Today was a good riding day. Went up to Big Dalton canyon area and explored Big Dalton road and the nature trails surrounding it. Then I explored the lower realms of Monroe truck trail. Too much poison oak for my unprotected legs. Then I meandered up Glendora mountain road for about 5 miles. Found the cardiff cutoff trail and down I went. It was maintained fairly well for the side of the mountain switchback type single track. The bad part about it, is that they did not have an adequate trail head at the bottom. It actually ended up in the Dalton debris basin with no tresspassing signs on the gate (??)
Tomorrow I may have to do monroe trail by way of Mystic canyon trail.....less poison oak.
