By Steve Outing on 6/13/2007 on Hey, all. As part of our Grassroots Correspondents program, we've got several MTB races that need YourMTB.com correspondents. You agree to take photos and/or video and post some blog entries (NO experience required), and your entry fee to the race is paid. (And, your posts to YourMTB.com will be entered in contests for best photo, best video, and best blog to win some cool prizes.) Some recent additions to the program:
There are also still some openings for correspondents at the Iron Horse Downhill Series and the USA Cycling MTB National Championships at Mount Snow, Vermont, and the remaining Granny Gear 24 Hour National Point Series races (Killington, Landahl and Moab). Apply to cover these races here By the way, here's a good reason why you should consider being a YourMTB race correspondent: Many of the events we partner with get NO or very little coverage from mainstream media. These are important races that are important to the mountain bike community. Yet reporters seldom give them any notice! You can remedy this by covering these events, and giving them the recognition they deserve. |
