By Yann aka Quasimoto on 8/15/2007 on Yann aka Quasimoto's blog After totaling my car in Yellowstone with my bike on top of the car ... I had to get a new frame and multiple damaged components.... Yummy exercise, I went for a Blitz II from Versus Cycles - a burly frame with 170mm (6.7in) of rear travel... the frame has needle bearing adding to great stiffness. Here are few pictures of me mounting it last weekend.... After couple rides and few tunings, I am thrilled both up and down, the beast is fitting my riding style :) It's equipped with at Totem fork (2 steps air - 6.1 lbs) and Maxxis DH Tires (3 lbs each) - all on the heavy side but it's soooo good. 39 lbs total. http://www.versuscycles.com/blitz_detail.html |
