By Steve Phillips on 7/25/2007 on Steve Phillips's blog I got my first ride of the summer in today. I know, I was underwater for 3 months. It felt great to be back on the pedals again. Banner Forest isn't much, but it was enough to get me going again after a long hiatus. I might go back tomorrow and explore a little more. Can't seem to find my hydration bladder so drinking water is a pain, having to stop to get some refreshment. Glad it's not hot here in the great Northwest. |

Getting back into the swing of things |

Welcome Back Banner isn't much, but it really isn't that bad either. We ride it every other weekend, and you're more then welcome to ride with us. Underwater...what does that mean...subs. Ride on! Cheers, "I Will Never Draw Ethical Circles Around The Things That I Do". |

I actually explored a little more yesterday when I went back to Banner. There was definitely more there than I saw before. I can't seem to get a trail map so I know where I am going. Granted half the fun is just riding around clueless, but it would be nice to know. About the underwater thing, yes, submarines. Trying to fix some technical difficulties with my bike right now. Probably won't ride today. |
