By walker on 2/11/2008 on walker's blog With the East Coast getting hammered by old man winter and the rockies soaked to the gills with snow, there's got to be one place to ride, right? Below are few places to consider if you've got the travel bug: 1. Moab, Utah - the lower sections of Porcupine should be dry. Soverign trail should also have some dry spots. Might be a worthy trip out to the desert to check. 2. San Diego, California- just finished reading about the Big Laguna trail near San Diego. I'm sure the good folks at Evomo have more to say about the weather there. 3. El Paso, TX - Just about everything in Texas is dry. Well, especially the area around the Southwest. Be sure to check out Big Bend park too. 4. Tucson, AZ - I guarantee everything is dry in Southern Arizona. Hell, it is the beginning of their season. Can anyone say OLD PUEBLO! 5. Boulder City, NV - I'm still thinking about the trails in Bootleg Canyon. Now, who out there has the beta? Tell us, where are the FOR SURE dry trails? |
