By walker on 8/29/2007 on walker's blog According to a recent report by the UN, Americans work shorter hours than most of the world. Yeah, that's right, the report says most of the world works 48 hours a week and yet we complain about, on average, 40 hours a week. If you're interested in hearing the report on National Public Radio, click here. Whatever, the case 10 hours a week or 400 hours a week, I'm still ready for my labor DAY! Usually, I write about weekend plans on Friday, but I just can't wait to get on the trails. Here is what I'm thinking for this coming weekend... 1. Monarch Crest - I tried to rally this trail a couple of weeks ago, but the rain kept me away... 2. Independence Pass Road Ride - Yep, going to ride 3000 feet from Twin Lakes to Independence Pass 3. Independence Pass Bouldering - Have to hit those boulders!!! That's post ride... After that, who knows, probably bear creek to rainbow trail. I'm going to save this one for me... By the way, ever watch football? Then you know about the cable cam. Check out this SUPER SWEET youtube video of a cable cam and mountain biking: |
