By Steve Outing on 5/23/2007 on FYI, I just added a couple more events that are participating in our "YourMTB.com correspondent" program. ... If you're interested in racing in the Night Train 12 Hour Mountain Bike Race in Fontana Village, North Carolina, or attending the Fontana Fest Mountain Bike Festival in Stecoah, North Carolina, and would like to get in free, then apply to be a correspondent at either of those great events by Rusty Sprocket Productions LLC. In addition to those additions, there also are openings for YourMTB correspondents at Granny Gear Productions' remaining 24 hour races (except 24 Hours of Big Bear; those slots are already filled). What do you have to do as a "correspondent"? 1. Have fun. 2. Take a bunch of photos and maybe some video. 3 Write some blog items. 4. Post it to YourMTB.com. 5. Have more fun. To get an idea of what it's like to be a correspondent at an MTB event, take a look at the 24 Hours of Conyers Grassroots Channel on YourMTB.com. Three correspondents -- all of whom raced -- have posted lots of fun photos, video and blog items. |
