The Dr. perscribed some Moab for me and I'm going to listen to the Doctors orders! Yep, folks, I hit my first ride of Spring 08. Let me tell you... Oooo, that Moab is sweet!

My favorite Yourmtb.com user, Pumpkin Pant, and I took to the road late on Friday. After getting in the care, we had our abligatory after-work convos "how was your day?" and then she said, "Oh, mine was great..." And then I said, "Oh, how wonderful..." But that lastest for a short thirty minutes, we both slapped ourselves and turned to the upcoming rides we would crush this weekend. That night, it was more mountain bike conversation as we settled in for the night. Oh, boy, I couldn't wait...

My word, we woke to sunny skies and 40-degress by 8:00. That meant really warm temps throughout the day. It wasn't that I was right, it was that I was dead right about the temperatures! We hit up Slickrock x2, Amasa back, Soverign Trail and part of Porcupine Rim during the sunny days of Moab!

Folks, the trails are heating up (drying up), so what's on your agenda for the upcoming Spring? For me, I'm turning my attention back to Fruita, CO, Zion, UT, New Mexico and So. Cal. I have a feeling the desert is going to bloom like no other this year. We've had so much snow this year, which means great run-off. The road is calling me and it is time to ramp up the biking skills!

OH MY GOD, I'M EXCITED!!!
