Fun Project!
By Yann aka Quasimoto on 8/15/2007 After totaling my car in Yellowstone with my bike on top of the car ... I had to get a new frame and multiple damaged components.... Yummy exercise, I went for a Blitz II from Versus Cycles - a burly frame with 170mm (6.7in) of rear travel... the frame has needle bearing adding to great stiffness. Here are few pictures of me mounting it last weekend.... After couple rides and few tunings, I am thrilled both up and down, the beast is fitting my riding style :) |

Arnica Montana, my friend
By Yann aka Quasimoto on 5/9/2007 Arnica has been a friend for a long time and I thought I'd share a bit why. Usually i get help from 'it' when i am in trouble, like smashed into something :):( Anyho, Arnica Montana is a more than a friend, it's extract from a plant. You can find this at Whole Foods, Vitamin Cottage and any other store like that... it's been the best stuff to use for me over the years.... Arnica is not a brand but the kind of product (gel or pills). I recommend both.... |

Ride at 6 am to beat the mud, while it's still frozen...
By Yann aka Quasimoto on 3/5/2007 We had a good 3 hours ride this morning at Horsetooth Mountain, Fort Collins, CO. We managed to ride some of the southern facing trails at with less or no snow on it. Icy parts are still reminding us to keep our riding humble! |
