By reefs_of_space on 1/2/2007 A few years ago before I got married and had a kid I rode a lot. I Always wanted a full suspension bike but never had any money (getting married and having a kid didn't help with the whole money thing). So I rode a cheap and dangerous rigid bike from a company called "Outland." The bike was an M-22, also known as the "Screaming Metal Death Trap." The brakes failed. The rear dérailleur exploded one day. The stem broke. A pedal broke. The large chainring lost a couple of teeth (so did I actually). All told, between off road and commuting, I put about 3000 miles on this bike. Not bad considering it cost $79.00 (marked down from $179.00 because everyone else was too smart to buy it). I still have the frame.
