Ride a Maverick?

Do you ride a Maverick mountain bike? If so, you might want to post a photo of your trusty steed on Maverick's new MavLink Social Blog here on YourMTB.com.

Let's see your bike in action! (or just someplace pretty.)

MavLink is a new branded mini community within YourMTB.com. You'll start to see more of these, as bike companies reach out more to interact and converse with their customers.

Here's an announcement published today by Maverick about the MavLink Social Blog:

Dear friends of Maverick,

We just wanted to let you know about a new online initiative that we've begun in partnership with YourMTB.com, a grassroots online community for mountain bike enthusiasts.

It's called the "MavLink Social Blog" and you can find it here: www.yourmtb.com/maverick

What the heck is a Social Blog? First, it is partly a blog, where you'll find all sorts of stuff from and about Maverick -- photos, videos, news about new products, our sponsored athletes, events we're participating in, etc.

But the innovative part -- the part that involves YOU -- is that everyone in the Maverick community can contribute and participate.

What we're building is an interactive online community where friends of Maverick can talk to each other and talk to us. (YourMTB.com calls this "conversational media.")

It's super easy for you to take part and post Maverick-related photos, videos, news, product reviews or stories (blogs) to MavLink. And what you post will appear in the larger YourMTB.com site, which will let more MTB enthusiasts in on everything Maverick -- and learn about you and your news.

As a friend of Maverick, we hope you'll take part in this exciting new site. Just visit www.yourmtb.com/maverick and join MavLink. (Look for the "Join" link.)

Here are some suggestions of how you might participate in MavLink:

Post a photo of you and your Maverick on the trail.
Share a video of you riding your Maverick.
Blog about your latest race, or latest epic ride.
Offer a training or riding tip.
Post a review of a Maverick bike or product.
Be creative! Have fun!
