The race went great.

They shortened the swim from 1600 to 1000 meters because of water temperature but the water wasn't that cold at all.

The bike went well, the last big climb was a killer, it was hard to hold anything back for the run.

The run could have been marked a little better, I hate when I have to stop and try to figure out which direction to run. The run started with a gradual uphill which hurt after the bike. I just shortened my stride and kept running.

I rode the Buffalo Creek Xterra course on Sunday.

Great ride, nothing too technical, I unclipped 2x for technical reasons. there were quite a few sandy sections, I'll need to change tires for the race. My front tire ploughed in on a turn and I endoed, nothing broken.

I cruised it and it took about 2:15, but I had to stop and look at my map a few times. I'm hoping to get a pretty good time (for me) in the race tomorrow.
