YOURMTB IN SALT LAKE CITY: Inside the Outdoor Retailer

Last weekend, YourMTB.com sent editorial and community manager Neal Young to the big (seriously, BIG) Outdoor Retailer trade show in Salt Lake City.

Strapped with a camera and fueled by endless amounts of free coffee, he roamed the show floor for four days shooting daily summaries of what went down. Be sure to check out all the products, people, dogs, "yoga," beer, death defying stunts and shenanigans here!

WALKER'S WORLD: What's he saying?

A couple weeks ago, YourMTB.com went local. Walker followed suit and gave us the scoop on why local races are important, and the local organizations you can support by racing in them - so what a great excuse to enter a race! Speaking of entering races, or rather, not entering them, Walker noticed that Lance Armstrong once again opted out of the Leadville 100.

This week in "No $#*% News," The Reverend Walker Thompson addressed his choir with some interesting insights: cycling is faster, healthier and more efficient than riding in a car. He also went on to break the news that smoking may also be bad for you.

FLICK O' THE WEEK: Freeriding el Diablo

The latest Flick O' The Week brings us back east to the Diablo Freeride Park in New Jersey. Community member Timekiller posted this video of his moves on the park's Triple Drop, Upper Breakout, Lower Breakout, Alpine, progressive drops, and 2 kickers. Timekiller rode the park last week, and edited the video himself. (The music: "The Hustle," by A Night in a Box.)
