Audio: YourMTB.com Podcast #46 - Walker sounds off!

By walker on 5/18/2007 on walker's blog

Happy Friday y'all! In this week's podcast I review site news and added feature (trail conditions - rad!), the LeMond bomb dropped during the Landis case, IMBA updates, and my upcoming trip to Los Alamos, New Mexico. So take a listen, it's good for you...

Great Podcast again Walker. We will be down in Durango next weekend for the Iron Horse classic. You riding? Also...how are trail conditions for MTB? Kennebec ridable? On a different note...hands down Los Alamos has some really good riding. Lets get real though....it ain't no Durango or Fruita (as for biking vibe and beer selection!) I was there about 2 years ago when I read an artice in Mountainbike.com that praised the trails ...check out my pics to see a "burned section" on the Quazaman Trail. Lots of climbing..but that's what I like and it was fun. There was one "epic" trail that was covered with burn so I didn't get a chance, I might repost if I find the name/magazine. Have fun.

Heya, what's up?

I'll MOST likely be in Taos; doing the chile challenge. Yep, going to skip the Iron Horse this year.

Last I was up Kennebec was two weekends ago and the snow at the base of Mayday (that small town you get to before the SERIOUS climb up to Kennebec) was 6 inches deep still.

Just got back from Los Alamos. I think I rode every trail. Perimeter was weird to navigate. Great riding and awesome climbing (ropes).
