By BigAgnes on 11/12/2006 on BigAgnes's blog Here's a sugestion... How about a swap shop here on yourmtb.com? Other sites have an area where users can post items that they might want to swap for other items. It's an awesome deal at bike shows and other events, and some users could really benefit from it. We could post the item in it's very own forum. What does everyone think? |

Yes, that's a nice idea. We'll noodle on it and see if we can figure out how to implement it. And it'd be great if folks make suggestions on how this might look. It could be as simple as us creating a Swap Shop forum, but perhaps there are some other ways to do this. (Right now we don't have a simple way to upload photos when someone replies to a forum post; but you can post a photo easily with an original forum post. To do this, we'll need to add photo upload to replies. That's in the development queue.) Thanks for the suggestion! Steve |

www.rockclimbing.com has the best setup that I've ever seen. There, you could sell your gear, as well as swap. It's a great service, because it gives peole the opportunity to pass their gear along to someone within the community. Cheers, "I Will Never Draw Ethical Circles Around The Things That I Do". |

Swap Shop Yea, Agnes I agree. Or we could suggest to our gracious hosts at YourMTB to try and promote the existing area ( http://www.yourmtb.com/forums/buy_sell) a bit more. |
BigAgnes says:
Yep...I'm with u MikeG...but let's make it more than just a forum... Cheers, "I Will Never Draw Ethical Circles Around The Things That I Do". |
MikeG says:
That's even better BigAggie. I didn't think of that. |
