Three Questions To Ask Your MTB Friends
|
By walker on 10/23/2007 on walker's blog Ever wonder what people ask about? I know this sounds weird, but have you ever thought, "is that a stupid question?" Sure you have! I took a look on the internet to discover the top questions posted online about mountain biking. My Google search ("top mtb questions") gave me some interesting results. 1. Who Makes The Best MTB Handlebars - answer here |
Dear YourMTBers,

By walker on 10/2/2007 on walker's blog This is a personal note to all of you who have been active members and friends. I'm getting married this Saturday! We're going to have the wedding event of the year! This is a new chapter in my life as I'm sure it was in many of yours. Now on to my question. If you're married, how do you fit mountain biking in? Granted, it isn't that difficult to convince someone to visit the most beautiful country on earth, but doesn't marriage come with "other" duties? Will I be regulated to only 2 hours of mountain biking a day? Looking for some advice here, so whatever you got, pass it on. |
Do You Love Your Bike?
|
By walker on 9/20/2007 on walker's blog On a lunch ride with my co-workers, I stopped to say hello to a tourist hitting up our Durango trails. On the road from Minnesota, that guy was psyched to be in the sunny Southwest. He was on a rental bike, but the first thing he noticed was my Stumpjumer. Almost immediately he broke out in conversation about his 2007 Specialized Enduro. |

By mean gene on 8/21/2007 on mean gene's blog Hello MTBers, I'm Mean Gene who just moved to Roanoke, Virginia from Seattle, Washington. So far I have discovered the trails at Carvins Cove, Pandapas Pond, and Explore Park in the Roanoke area. I must say the riding here is SWEET! I ride a Santa Cruz Nomad with a Talas 36 RC2 fork purchased from the guys at "Just the right Gear". They were fantastic and I love the new fork! Thanks guys. It's time to ride. Mean Gene |
What Is Mandatory In Your Hydration Pack

By walker on 8/21/2007 on walker's blog Many moons ago I was out on a ride with a friend and his friend. Let's say my friend's friend wouldn't normally join the trail with me. His shorts were way too tight and so was his jersey. To top it all off he also had cop sunglasses on. Nothing against cop sunglasses, but they aren't the best for mountain biking. I think his helmet was from the 80's - can you say Bell hardshell (remember those)? |
