By bigheirtz on 4/15/2008 on bigheirtz's blog Just a little trick I read about in a Mag last night. To find new trails, or off-shutes of trails you already know about, check out the area on Google Earth. If you live in the Southwest, or a mostly dry climate, the trails are pretty easy to find. A bit harder in the Northwest, East and other heavily treed areas. |

Don't worry, we'll go this weekend... Knowing my friend, he is correct, no one knows about it, however, and he's usually pretty good about not spraying too much about new trails, but what about the rest of us? Below are five tips on what to do if you find a secret trail... |

Interested In A Dry Place To Ride?
|
By walker on 2/11/2008 on walker's blog With the East Coast getting hammered by old man winter and the rockies soaked to the gills with snow, there's got to be one place to ride, right? Below are few places to consider if you've got the travel bug: 1. Moab, Utah - the lower sections of Porcupine should be dry. Soverign trail should also have some dry spots. Might be a worthy trip out to the desert to check. |

By %universe on 9/21/2007 on %universe's blog been waiting 8 years to ride tiger. I've walked it a few times and ridden the logging roads but september 07 pulled up got bike ready one liter of water and started up gravel road following a few mtbrs. As I began to work at climb in 2nd front ring I found I couldnt get into low so for 35 minitues panted and huffed while pushing and straining up. An entire bike club passed me but at top I caught up. they were chilling for a minutebefore going on singletrack. |

Keeping The Trails Alive

By walker on 9/7/2007 on walker's blog Funny how junk mail gets in the way of desired mail. In the clutter of all that I receive, my Trails2000 membership form came in the mail. Like all good mountain bikers, I'll have a check in the mail ASAP! So, what about you? Is it membership season for your local trail advocacy group?
