2007 24 Hours of Big Bear Contest Winners Announced!

The 2007 24 Hours of Big Bear came and went...but one last competition still remained - the best photos, blogs and videos! Competitors and spectators shared their photos, stories and videos from the race here at the YourMTB.com 24 Hours of Big Bear page, and to make things a bit more fun, we held three contests for those that submitted their stuff. Without further ado, here are the winners!

BEST PHOTO: More photos were submitted than anything else, and the quality was superb across the board. But eventually, one photo emerged as the best of the bunch: rojac68's warp speed night shot. BEST STORY OR BLOG ENTRY: We had quite a few great story tellers covering the weekend -- but by far the most prolific and detailed reporter was riderx. His blog was well written, insightful, entertaining, and thorough. For such meticulous reporting, he earns himself an Evolution Smart Halogen NiMH Technical Lighting System from NiteRider, plus a YourMTB.com t-shirt.

BEST VIDEO: No one caught a better inside look at the baton exchange process than mattsilv's transition area video. The win earns him an Evolution Smart Halogen NiMH Technical Lighting System from NiteRider, plus a YourMTB.com t-shirt.

We also had 2 Ibex shirts to raffle off to folks just for joining the group. The winners of the shirts, randomly selected, are Joe Bagadonuts and MoreCowbellCptn.
