Mount Snow and YourMTB.com have teamed up to host a Grassroots Channel for this year's races -- and you can win prizes just for snapping photos at the races and/or blogging about it. Competitors and spectators alike can take part. Check out the goodies being given out for the best photos, video and blogs from race week, July 17-22: BEST PHOTO: Post your pictures from the weekend -- the racing, the athletes, the mud, the crowd, the crashes ... ANYTHING goes! Two weeks after the event, the best pic of the bunch will be chosen. Best photo winner set of Kenda tires. BEST STORY OR BLOG ENTRY: It's time to spread the word, the 21st century way! Post your stories from the race -- from your tale of victory, near-victory or defeat, to your description of racing heaven, or mechnical hell. ... Just post it. And out of those tales, we'll give the best author a Giro helmet bag. BEST VIDEO: You've put together an epic montage of racing footage, and you want the world to see it. Post ANY video, from the overview of the race itself, to the collection of crashes you recorded, to whatever your race-crazy brain can come up with. The producer of the best video will be the recipient of a JBL Spyro satellite speaker system. BONUS RAFFLE: You don't have to do much to be eligible for these 3 prizes. Just join the National Championships Grassroots Channel, and you'll be entered in a raffle.
