This week's Post of the Week winner didn't even have to post to YourMTB.com to win! It's mtbmike, a.k.a. Mike Barrow, a.k.a. president of the Boulder Mountainbike Alliance (Colorado).

Why did he win? For this heartwarming photo (posted by YourMTB.com publisher Steve Outing) of Mike ripping up a "No Bikes Allowed" sign on Boulder's Flatirons Vista/Dowdy Draw trail. Nope, he's not vandalizing; Mike got the honor after a trail work day, after which the trail was opened to bikes for the first time.

Mike and his BMA colleagues and volunteers are a big part of the reason that the trail restriction was lifted. And the group has been having success getting more new trails for mountain bikers in Boulder County.

We think Mike deserves an award, so he gets Post of the Week, which includes a great gift pack from Pixie Mate (which just happens to be a Boulder-based company).

The newest Thomson Member of the Month wowed us with some great action photos during September. edlops has a fast shutter finger, apparently, because he captured his speedy friends flying through the air, sometimes in oh-so-cool machinegun-shutter style.

For entertaining us, we award edlops as Member of the Month, which means he'll receive a Thomson seat post and stem of his choice.

This week's Pixie Mate Post of the Week is a classic tourist shot. That is, it made us want to pack our bags and become MTB-riding tourists in the Swiss Alps.

Crested Butte: Wildflowers. Mountain splendor. Epic singletrack. ... Dirt jumping park?

This week's Pixie Maté Post of the Week comes from the epicenter of mountain biking, Crested Butte, Colorado. But it's not what you expect to come from that high-altitude MTB mecca.

Gunnifreeride caught this outstanding action shot at a Crested Butte dirt jumping park. The rider's position in the sky, hovering momentarily above Mt. Crested Butte, made for a great shot. Thus, selection of this week's winning Post of the Week was a no-brainer.

24 Hours. No, not the TV show. The 24 Hours of Landahl has you off the couch and on your bike. (Let's see Keifer Sutherland do that!)

YourMTB.com member mgersib (aka, Matt Gersib) rode in Landahl for his first attempt at 24-hour racing -- solo! (Most 24-hour crazies do it as a team.) And he posted a great write-up about his experience.
