Fontana Fest Weekend, from Bad to Good – a weekend of angry bee sounds! :thumbsup:

The Weekend got a delayed start due to the wife having to work, Harrison and I had the car packed and all of our pre-trip running around done… got on the road about 5:15 or so which landed us into Asheville bumper to bumper traffic; which was at a snails pace, or slower for almost forty minutes… once we were able to hit i40 and pass the construction the traffic started moving normally.

Attention, North Carolina MTBers: Through a partnership with Rusty Sprocket Productions LLC, we've got room for YourMTB correspondents to cover the Fontana Fest mountain bike festival (July 20-22) and the Night Train 12-hour mountain bike race (August 11).

This is our usual deal: Agree to shoot some photos, maybe some video, and blog about the event, and you'll get in free.

We're seeking 2 correspondents for Fontana Fest and 2 for the Night Train.

Rusty Sprocket Productions LLC, SRAM and YourMTB.com are teaming up to host a Grassroots Channel for this year's Fontana Fest mountain bike festival the Kickstand Lodge in Stecoah, North Carolina, July 20-22.

Participants will use the channel as a homebase from which to share their photos, stories and videos from the festival. ... And win prizes from SRAM for posting the best stuff!
