Anybody from Colorado Springs?

By corazorback on 1/21/2007

New to the Colorado Springs area. Moved from West Virginia. I raced back home in the WVMBA Point Series races for about 4 years, then took a year and half off. I decided to move out here, because I love it out here.

Anyways, I am also looking for people to ride with or even a team to join up with. So if you need a riding partner or have a group I could join up with, just let me know.

It's not always that fun riding by yourself in an area you have no idea what it's all about.

I've ridden in CO. Springs a lot. Do you need any tips on the epic stuff?

Yes, that would be cool. Also I need to find some group rides and what not. I just moved out here, so I really don't have anyone to ride with at this time. So I am looking for some riding buddies as well.

I don't live in CO. Springs, but I've ridden a lot of the trails...

First off, you have to visit team telecycle. These guys are great: http://www.teamtelecycle.com/. Secondly, try the MTBR website: http://trails.mtbr.com/united-states-trails/trails-colorado/front-range/.... They have some great trails listed (I did the search for you). In my opinion the Jones Downhill loop connecting to Captain Jacks is the best!

Yes, Jones Downhill was a blast. That is by far my most favorite trail. Thanks for the advice as well.
