Both Cannondale and Specialized are great companies and you would be happy with either choice. I love the Lefty on my Cannondale. It's quick and light weight but also unique. So I will cast a vote for the Cannondale. But I would also suggest riding both brands and talking with a few bike shops to see what others are saying. Good Luck,
Mike

I say Cannondale. I have 2 - a jekyll with lefty and an F500 head shock. Headshocks dont quite have enough travel for sure. Lefty is the bomb... never had a problem and it is just right for me.

I have ridden a Jekyll with a lefty for XC & racing for 3 years now and it's definitely served me well.

Both companies produce great bikes. If you can give us some info and what type of riding you will be doing and price range that would help us determine which bike might suit you.
