The one in Colorado, not Nevada, but you probably didn't need me to tell you that. :)
I'm psyched to see how many folks on here are from places I've never been...I can't wait to see photos from you guys.
I've been mountain biking about six years now; I race a little cross-country, Super D and cyclocross for fun, but mostly I just love being in the woods on a bike (or in the desert, or just about anywhere else.) I make a trip to Crested Butte every year with 40 other people, and the riding there is amazing.
I dream of riding in Italy, Germany (the Black Forest is supposed to be killer), Canada, and New Zealand.
I think mountain bikers are some of the coolest people around...everywhere I've ridden, I've met great friends. We've got the best sport in the world, hands down.
Nice to meet you all,
cheers,
Marty

Greetings Fellow Bikers!
I moved from Alaska to Colorado last fall and am looking for some competitive girls around the Denver Metro area to ride with! I'm up for mtn or road....

Hey Natalie,

Welcome to Colorado! It's probably not as beautiful as Alaska, but hey, it's better than a sharp kick in the teeth. :)

I'm always up for a mtn bike ride. Just send me a note.

cheers,
Marty

Good old Crusty Butt. Excellent riding there and just down the road in rage in the sage. I spent some time during the summer after I graduated from college cruising the west and had an excellent time in the Crested Butte / Gunnison area. If you get the chance you need to ride out the continental divide from Monarch pass and descend down one of the valleys to Gunnison. Probably the most amazing ride I have ever done.
