hello sir,
i would like to ask you how i could start a mountain biking carreer. my goal and what i would like to do is to go pro eventually. could you please give some advice on how to achieve this goal!

It all depends on what you want to accomplish. What are you goals? Do you want to make money? If so, are you willing to sacrifice the sport you love (mountain biking) for road riding?

I believe the days of big festival like moutain bike races will return to the US one of these days so go ahead and follow your dream to be a Pro MTB racer. You may just be starting at the right time. How do you do this? You train, preferably with a coach, and practice your bike handling skills and race as much as possible. If you start winning, you will rise through the ranks and hopefully attract the attention of some sponsors that will pay you to promote their products.

Just like Rob said it will be back my friend, just have fun and be consistant. Ride, eat and sleep... If of age have a Beer or two. not much to it.

IV BEEN MOUNTAIN BIKING FOR 15 YEARS BUT WOULD PREFER TO TAKE UP A CAREER IN TRAIL BUILING AND WOULD SEEK SPONSORSHIP ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
