Hello from Illinois

Just introducing myself here. I've only been into MTBing for about 6 months now.  Growing up I rode my little 20" BMX ever where and over and off of many things.  Didn't live anywhere where I could race, etc but riding was part of my life. I got back into riding this summer when I found a place to ride and a local club in my backyard.  I've been in the Peoria, Illinois area for 10 years and just found them (amazing what you find when you look?) - Also, this summer my younger brother died in a car crash.  One of his fondest memories was the family bike rides we would have through town when we were kids. Now when I ride, always remember him.  I've decided that his 1 year old daughter will have a bike sugar daddy from now on. I’m hoping to have a lot of fun riding the local trails and getting my kids into an awesome sport that they can keep using for the rest of their life.
