Now, really, where did you ride over Memorial Day???

I'm wondering, where did you ride over the Memorial weekend. I can only imagine that you spent time on your bike? If so, TELL US MORE!!!

Memorial Day Weekend was my second time riding on a real bike trail--and it was a good one! I went up to Santos, near Ocala, Florida. The trails there are very clearly marked with names and color-coded by experience level. I stuck to the beginner stuff, and it was a great experience for me that struck the right balance between having small, challenging obstacles without being discouraging. I spent about three hours out there and had the best time. There was also a small skills area near the trail head where all the 12-year old boys showed me how it's done. I can't believe I grew up in Ocala thinking there was nothing to do there! I'll definitely be going back frequently. :-)
