Rigid singlespeeds?

Well, at least it isn't white, because white is hard to keep clean...

I once owned a rigid singlespeed. It was a yellow Huffy and I loved it. So, what's up with this new breed of singlespeeder: rigid frame, no comfy fork all the love of the trail below you, right?
