Suggestion for Best trail in Moab?

Hey all! I'll be travelling to Moab for the first time late next month. I'll be with a group many of whom do not mtb. Any suggestions on a moderate trail with great scenery and fun for the novice rider? Thanks in advance!

I would ride Soverign Trail or part of the White Rim. The Soverign Trail (ST) is outside of town, as is the White Rim. The ST is easy enough, but there are some techincal sections. The White Rim is all dirt road with the BEST views in Moab. Start on either end. you won't be disappointed...

I think Bartlett Wash fits your bill. It's miles of undulating slickrock to play around on rather than a set trail. Pick the parts that your group can handle. It's about 18 miles north of Moab. Take dirt/sandy roads a few miles to get to the trailhead; fine for passenger cars unless it's raining. So fun!

For beginners I suggest Gemini Bridges as it is basically cruising along a dirt road. While sandy in places, it is overall little elevation gain and gradual at that. It also affords a scenic destination with a natural bridge at the end to enjoy. Pretty much any trail in Moab will provide you with the scenic views that you desire so just make sure you are up for the difficulty level.

Thanks for all the suggestions! We rode Gemini Bridges as a 14 mile point to point run and had a great time. Some of our group had to walk portions of the last hill climb but they still had fun. I also ran into Steve Outing at the Chile Pepper Bike shop. It was great to meet a virtual friend in reality.
