![]() By walker on 11/21/2006 Johnny wants the new XTR. And Sally wants a Specialized Enduro. Pauly wants a Surly Karate Monkey. What do you want for Christmas this year? We all have our stocking stuffer ideas, under the tree gifts to see and other dazzeling gifts to give to others, but really we all want something for ourselves! What is on your Christmas list this year? |

a new awesome trail closer to my house!!! ( moving back to CT this week and I kinda got used to having a bunch of trails all within 5 mins drive... now it 's more like a 1/2 hour or more and they are only "ok" trails... WAAAAAAAAAAA) |

Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is the Garmin GPSMAP 60 CSx. You've got to have a few of those lying around up North. I promise I've been a good boy this year. I haven't ridden on any illegal trails (well, except one by accident), or skidded out too much with the rear brake. I've been kind to all the reindeer I've seen on the trail too. I recycle. If you bring me this one simple gadget, I promise I'll never ask for anything again (until next year). You're the best Santa, MTBikeAZ p.s. Also, could you have one of your elves deliver it a little early this year? I've got a few pre-Christmas rides planned and it would come in real handy. If not, it's OK. I'll understand. Wake me up when you come by, we can do an early morning ride. As always, I'll have Gatorade and Gu waiting for you on the table. |

Dear Santa -- I've been pretty good this year, so I'm writing to cash in. First, let's say if you're feeling especially generous, what I'd REALLY like is a new Ellsworth Truth, but I don't think I was quite that good. So let's get down to the nitty gritty. Topping the list is definitely a new disc brake set up. That means new wheels -- Spinergy Xyclone Discs -- new brakes -- Avid BB7s -- and new cables -- Nokon. A new rear shock would be next on the list -- Fox Float RP23 is the one I've got my eye on. A new Fox front fork would be nice too. Love my Duke, but it's time to rebuild, and new is always better. But heck, Santa, once you've put all that time and effort and money into all those goodies, why not just toss in the Truth? |

All I want for Christmas is to have all of the ego-maniacs in the sport "shut up" for just one day...that would be soooooooo cool. Cheers, "I Will Never Draw Ethical Circles Around The Things That I Do". |
