hey i hope this isn't a re-post, but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for some strong DH/FR wheels, i would sacrifice weight for strength any day, so don't use weight as a deciding factor, but any input would be much appreciated, thx in advance

It depends on what kind of price range you are looking at. If you don't want to spend a lot I have heard some good things about LOCOS that performance bike sells. They have a QR or a 20 mm thru axle conversion for a couple hundred bucks. If you want to spend more there are so many, like Mavic and Magura, you can get just about anything to fit your needs.

Sorry made a typo and the site isn't letting me edit. The wheels are LOCOS not lobos.

thx for the reply, ill check out the locos, my spending limit is pretty low, forgot to mention that, so mavic is pretty much out of the question

These are some sick wheels, i have a friend who has them and he loves them, great for downhill and freeriding, and a fairly light wheel for what you can get out of it.

If you dont have a big budget, S-types are nice for the price. For a little bit more you can get the MTX's which are a stronger version of the S-types.
Im not sure of the price but check out some of Arrows rims. I'd take a set of those over any Sun Rim any day.

Get some Hope hubs, built onto a decent mavic rim like a 719 disc rim.
