What if Al Gore ran for president and he said, "I only care about the environment and a healthy population. I'm going to do what I can to save our forests and our people." Thoughts? |

Can he help heal our deficit? Health care? Being the Pres. is a broad task. I love the outdoors, but I just really want an honest politician to be in the big-mans chair. If he only cared about one thing...He might as well shoot himself in the foot. As far as "who can save mountain biking"? That task is for all of us that ride to decide. We are gaining in numbers and are being pro-active. But in my eyes, more of us need to step up to the plate. And that effort needs to pushed in all of our local governments and agencies first. I think mountain biking can be so much more. It would also be nice to find a way to bring racing, both X-country and DH to the people. Our racing scene is severely stunted due to lack of viewership interest. |

Adam, You're words are inspiring! Quote: I agree with this point of view. Part of the goal of this site is to bring people to mountain bikers and to come to one realization: people are mountains! Walker T Off the road, on the mind... |
