Bike Ecology

<em>Spacemonkey</em>'s picture

Give this blog post from Ryan Leech a read and then Discuss

http://www.ryanleech.com/blog/2008/04/08/bikecology-put-it-out-there/

I found it interesting on two points. One the actual intelagent commentary about ecology is not surprising but well said none the less and great enviromental promotion coming from a Mtb star.

Two mentioning Obama, David Suzuki, and Al gore, together in a mtbing article that also talks about 360s backflips and Coffee. that's pretty hip.

Over on the NSMB site I found this video and thought I would share it with the EMBA Crew. It's all about Trail building and Advacacy on the north shore

Edmonton trail talk

<em>Spacemonkey</em>'s picture

Figured Id creat a place on here for us to Talk trails. Weather it's your favorite trail, a story about a trail you ride, or a trail that needs some TLC. Winter has set into the point where my bike might as well be burried under the snow(it's not though) however that only makes me want to think more about the great rides I need to do when spring comes.

Next summer or spring I am going to have to bike from the kinnard ravine all the way down to terwilligar park, That should make for a nice long ride.

Just thought I would pass aloung our new website address to the EMBA group members here on YourMTB

The website is at

http://edmmtnbike.ca/

So Add us to your bookmarks and check back every now and then. It's pretty simple right now, but given time more content will be added. It's all done by volunteers, so we do what we can when we can.
