Welcome, this group is a group for those in the Midwest, where we are void of mountains of any kind and still find places to rip it up. I like the Midwest and love the riding opportunities. Share with us your trails and riding adventures in the Midwest region. Join our community
This is a photo of my niece and nephews getting ready for a ride. It reminded me of a time when I had an entire world to explore on my bike. All I needed was my helmet, and my huffy. Things sure do change, except I still love riding my bike!

I will be traveling to the Dallas area in a few weeks. I was curious about trails in the area. I have ridden McKinney park, but I was looking at the Breaks at Bar H mountain bike ranch in St. Jo. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with those trails. I will be traveling with my wife, who likes to ride but is somewhat of a novice. Is it worth a stop? I look forward to getting on some trails in TX.

OK, now I don't know how the rest of the country is right now, but I am a little sick of waiting for the snow to melt away. Here in the mid-west we are usually blessed with somewhat of a milder winter. Temperatures kind of are on the cold side, but I can deal with that. What I am talking about is the 4-5 inches of snow once a week in combination with our sub-zero temperatures. I love to ride, but not in my basement on my trainer, and I am sick of the gym. I miss the single track. I am very eager to get back on the trails, and here in Nebraska we not only have to wait for the thaw. We have to wait for the drying of the trails, so as not to destroy the weird soil we have here.
