Over the course of visibly suffering through the Georgia Single Speed State Championships, we're not sure if YourMTB.com community member TLYMTB gained anything other than lactic acid. After posting a picture of his pain, however, he gained the appreciation of the sadists and morbidly curious among us. And now, he'll gain Post of the Week honors and a sweet new camera tripod!

All that angry pain face was the result of his chain falling off about 20 times. That is a face of anger.

Yes you are correct about 50% of the anger was directly caused by the chain not wanting to stay on. I guess that's what I get for rigging up a SS 2 days before the race and not testing it out very well.... Just might have cost me a state champ jersey too which was the other 50% of the anger..... All in all a great day though! Made me re-think my stance on SS's and hardtails for that matter!

2 laps.......please...do two more laps and drink a frosty, then come talk to me....Congrats man.
