Thanks for the post Steve. It was a great trail even though finding the trailhead was a little trying. So much construction in Snowmass....no sign for Wood Rd. I was fortunate to bring the GPS! I noticed you are from Boulder...any recommendations for MTB rides? I have done Walker Ranch and that was fun. Have you ever ridden in Colorado Springs?

Boulder's not the greatest for MTB because the local governments have long had an anti-mountain bike bias. Our local MTB advocacy group is making progress, so it's getting a bit better. Yeah, Walker Ranch is probably our best local trail open to bikes.

Another good local ride would be Hall Ranch near Lyons, just north of Boulder.

C-Springs: Haven't ridden there, but I hear Palmer Park is fun.
