While at Bartlett Wash the other day, I happened upon an unofficial huck-fest going at at the much-photographed "Mushroom Rock."

Around Moab, yes, everything is that amazing. I go back there again and again, the scenery and the riding are so great. ... That was a huge drop. Riders jumped off; some touched briefly on the side of the mushroom; then swooped down and up a slope where they took another little air to a flat landing spot.

Unfortunately, I was there to ride, not shoot photos; all I had was my Casio credit-card camera that has no viewfinder and you shoot using the screen. So it was tough to capture any more than the guys shooting off the edge. I have a bunch more photos, but they're pretty much the same as this shot. With that camera, all I can do is aim in the general direction and hope I get lucky! 8^)

Great shot! While we didn't make it to Bartlett on Saturday, we did ride Gemini Bridges. We had a blast! It was great to meet you at the Chile Pepper Bike shop. We had a great time in Moab and hope to go back soon.
