Great photo. Nice line as well.
That area is known as "the Bowl" by some. That generally is actually not considered "the portage" on the Ribbon. While the move/moves are very techy, is gets ridden a lot.

The portage is further down as the trail drops into the final wash. That section is rarely ridden, as you really need perfect (i.e. not dusty..) conditions to control your speed down the pointy black rock, or else you'll be pulling juniper branches out of your teeth for a week.

Really nice photo. Really catches the steepness of the line.
