Now that's wild! You're talking my neck of the woods, at least when I was living in Oklahoma. We would climb at Sam's Throne all the time. Have you ever cleaned Painted Warrior? That climb is amazing!

About eight years ago, I had a leader fall last day of a 5 day trip, crushing the bones in my left ankle. It was only a 10+. I had worked it past the two bolts at the crux. There was a lot of moss/lichen & it had rained that am. Just set a reachy cam in a fist-crack, got two bights of rope & weighted my feet too much on the overhang while being VERY runout. Greased & didn't get the pushoff, landing on my feet on a ledge. POP. It echoed down the valley. My son & daughter watching. not cool. It took a year to rehab to the point I have no pain (unless I run. bummer)
BTW, what wall is PW on? Nevermind. Found it. OK, You've inspired/given me a goal... This could take a LOT of discipline to snag. You sent it I guess? What's your story?
