the Old Man made it up to hill

the Old Man made it up to hill

well... it's really not that big of a climb. But for this old man it put me out of breath.. (as you can see I stayed there some time resting by all the gear I striped off) Just letting you all know that the Iron horse warrior Pro is running MUCH better after a few days in the shop ( I was kinda whining about the problems with it the forums)

By the way... this is "the campsite" on the Rocky Point Trail in Long Island NY

How about an 80 y.o?

Just yesterday, I went riding with my mother-in-law's fiancee (long story). He's a very in-shape *80* year old. He had just gotten back from a windsurfing trip down south. We only went for about 10 km, since my 7 year old son (who had a bit of asthma due to a cold) came along too.

We had an age spread there of about 73 years, all told!

I hope to be like this guy when I'm that age.

me too... I actually started this whole mtn biking thing to get back in shape... my job has turned into more of an Admin. position and a lot less actual WORK so I have kinda gotten a spare tire around the middle.

Hey! That sounds like me too, T. I work at a 'puter all day.

I've been riding a lot this summer. Lost almost 20 pounds so far, how's it going for you?

every event my father rides in he always wins some killer (box of cliff bars, some tubes) prize for being oldest rider there..and always gets the loudest applause..and yes most of the time he still kicks my ass on the climbs..
