Full Tilt Won't See Telluride Trail This Year

By Kevin on 3/13/2008

Mountain bikers are seeing some struggle in keeping their ablity to use the Telluride trail in Colorado.  Safety issues are the reason given for the proposed ban on the activity.

Due to the concerns, the Full Tilt race that took place on the trail will not be held.  Though the cross country portion of the race is not being targeted it too may fail to take place due to the general consensus against the entire event.

Negotiations are on the table, and solutions are being offered, but nothing is set it stone just yet.  The worry for the safety of the people on the mountain, meaning both hikers and mountain bikers, is sure to cause a delay in the discovery of a palatable outcome.
