You Can Help Improve New York's Singletrack

The new Catskill Park State Land Draft Master Plan involves upgrades to protect and enhance mountain biking. However, the New York Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) needs your support to make these improvements a reality.

One of the policies proposed is the Primitive Bicycle Corridor which will continue to allow riding in wild, undeveloped areas. A copy of the draft plan and additional info can be found on the NY DEC's website.

To voice your support, the IMBA has a form online you can fill out and personalize to be sent directly to the New York DEC. It is located here. The deadline is May 19, 2008.
