THIS PROMOTION IS CLOSED. We've given away all the gloves. Glove recipients are: h.hill, pumpkin pants, b-rad, sknibs, subunit1, itter, mtbr, maartin, skogorbet and ehansen007. ... We hope to do more of these types of product-review promotions in the future, so keep visiting YourMTB.com!

YourMTB.com and Spenco Cycling are giving away 10 pairs of mountain biking gloves. (Read about the promotion here.)

If you would like to receive a free pair of gloves, post a reason why you deserve or need them by using the Comments feature below. The first 10 YourMTB.com registered users who give us credible reasons get the gloves. (North American addresses only for this particular offer.)

If you receive the gloves, we'll instruct you how and where to write a product review of the gloves. (That's a requirement for receiving the gloves.) Thanks for taking part in this contest!

I sat my gloves and helmet down next to my bike right before a Sunday morning urban ride. Went to top off my hydartion pack and came back to find the nieghbors ankle biter with one of my gloves in it's mouth. I was slow, dog was fast. Right glove has been MIA for 3 days. Hopes of finding it alive are pretty much gone. Soooo......
Size lrg. Heat Waves preferably. (living in FL. I'm sure you see why) and I would have no problem writing a product review.

Thanx

I need new gloves because...

I have had my fox gloves for over 4 years and just before the summer a hole appears in the thumb so now my thumb completely pokes through the hole and makes them barely useable. The real problem is the only spares I have are winter 661 gloves and they are a little on the warm side for 15+ degrees C!

I could whynge on about my poor paying job etc.. but hey it comes down to the fact that you cant ride without descent gloves! Pity I live in Scotland so I cant win :'(

My honey got down on his knee and gave me some serious bling this year, and now riding glove-less is resulting in blinding my fellow mountainbike compatriots, and causing wildlife to run for cover, not to mention all the interference with air travel and the remote locals thinking the 2nd sun is dawning. I'm not complaining though - I feel like a princess even when I'm on the trail covered in mud, dust and sweat. However, the gloves would help in maintaining a low profile... It's really for the good of everyone....Size medium please... :-)
Thank you!

Because of the amount of my original bike and gear purchase. My wife has cut off all cycling spending until further notice. The fox gloves I purchased when I bought my bike finally dissolved back into the earth.

And now my hands ride naked and afraid!

size: XL Full fingered Trail Pro's preferred

:)

Val Kowalewich says:

Well - I am becoming quite good at sewing with all the holes I have been patching on my full fingered RaceFace gloves. I have sewn both left and right gloves in about 5 different spots to stop them from falling apart.
I cannot wear my shorty's any longer as they smell. That nasty smell of 'Old' leather - even Frebreze doesn't help the stench - and my buddy's won't let me bring them along any more. I have been ostracized to the back of the pack or downwind as nobody will ride with me.

I need to protect my hands and not be 'stinky' - HELP!

Size - Large ( full fingered )

Ride On!

Val

I take out a lot of new or returning to the saddle riders and they either claim to have forgotten their gloves or some excuse to take my spare set before we hit the trails ,now i'm down to a well traveled pair that has shared more DNA and body juices than i can or want to remember ,a set of trail pro in a large would not only be well tested and reveiwed but also would be appreciated.

son of bentbike says:

I feel bad case i owe at least one pair of mtb gloves to my trail riding father.I would cough up the coin and get him some but he likes the lesser known /more obscure so i feel if i had a pair of your trail pro gloves in an xlarge i could reveiw them and then buy him a matching pair if all is good as a belated fathers day gift ,sounds cool eh!

sknibs says:

I have had my mountain biking gloves since 2001 - they are old, unstylish and are very 'worn'. I would like a new pair so that I can ride the trails knowing that I am protected and once again a fashion statement*.

* the Spenco gloves are very cool looking.

Size Small in HEAT WAVE please.

Well... Got to get some gloves to protect my poor hands for the next time I crash. Wearing road racing gloves just doesn't cut it ;-)

itter says:

My old Mace gloves are only holding on by threads now. I've worn out the right thumb completely, and have holes in the ends of the fingers. I don't think they'll hold on much longer!

Size: Large

Thanks

Dave

Thanks to those who've entered. Still a couple pairs of gloves to give away as I write this. PLEASE, if you request gloves make sure you're registered and logged in to the site. A couple folks above weren't registered, so we can't send them the gloves -- since we don't have their addresses.

(This is the first time we've run a promotion like this, so we're learning. Next time we'll set it up so you can't leave a comment/entry unless you're logged in to YourMTB.com.)

Aww I think I missed out on the glove action. Just in case, I didn't: M(mens) L(womens). My gloves got up on the couch last week and demanded I put them out of their misery. They can stand on their own - spooky.

Steve Outing says:

Nope, you didn't miss out. 1 pair left!

Scot says:

Well I really need a new pair of gloves. As many of you know my plan was to wear mine until they fell off while I was riding. So far, the palms are completely gone on both hands but they are still hanging in there. Not much protection for me though, wondering why I wear them at all. If the gloves are still available I could use a size XL.

Thanks... Scot
