In Arizona Again

By walker on 11/15/2007 on walker's blog

"Hey, Walker, how come you don't write this week?" ... Well, I'm on the road, the MTB trip road, and I got stories to tell. For one, this Arizonaian is playing "Electric Avenue" in the Elden Mountain parking lot. Score!!!

Will you race at the 24-Hours of Old Pueblo

By walker on 1/18/2007 on walker's blog

If you're like me, then you've waited until the last minute to register for the 24-Hours of Old Pueblo in Tucson, Arizona. If you're like me, you've been asking all of your friends to join you on a team, because the solo category is filled.

If you're like me, then you're also on the message board of the 24-Hours of Old Pueblo. If you're like me, then you're trying to find new friends to join you on your racing effort in the Arizon desert.

OK, so this isn't a blog about asking for new team members, but if you're interested... Uh, well, please comment...

The Story

I showed my friend Jesse this drop next to the Mormon trail on South Mtn. in Phoenix Az and he lined it up and went for it. The last crash was another line I showed him down the "Waterfall" on the National trail. He probably should stop letting me show him lines.
